All new TDR machines are covered by our standard 1 year warranty. Typically, reconditioned models are covered by a 6 month warranty but the exact terms will be detailed on your invoice.
What is covered in my warranty?
The cost of repairing or replacing any manufacturing defects only (not consumable items or semi-durables such as turntable mats and bearings) and the associated labour during the entire term of the warranty.
Faults that do not qualify as a warranty repair are subject to the cost of replacing or repairing machine parts, carriage in both directions and labour charged at £45 plus VAT per hour.
How do I get a warranty repair?
Should an issue arise with your machine, please contact us immediately. If necessary we will issue an RMA number and arrange to collect your machine.
Will I pay for the shipping?
Shipping in both direction is covered for the first quarter of the standard warranty period only; thereafter you will be billed for the shipping in both directions, which is currently £20 plus VAT each way. You are welcome to arrange the carriage yourself; we advise using a fully-insured courier service. We request that you still contact us first if covering your own shipping.
How long will it take to repair?
Usually your machine will be collected, repaired and returned within five working days, but it can take longer during busier periods.
What happens when my warranty runs out?
When the extended warranty period expires you will continue to benefit from free telephone and email support from our technical team, but any repairs will be chargeable at £45 plus VAT per hour for the labour and any parts required.
To ensure you get the most from your machines for years to come, we recommend taking out a service once every 12-18 months (depending on usage). Are there any exceptions?
The warranty cover is invalidated if:
- the defect is caused by misuse or neglect
- unauthorised persons carry out any alterations and/or repairs
- the serial number has been removed from your machine
